Miley Cyrus turned 22 on November 23, 2014, and celebrations began Saturday night at the Metropolitan Nightclub in West Hollywood. The “Happyland” theme included a room filled with sex toys and decorations and a large dance floor.

While some speculate that the Happyland theme was a new creation, others couldn’t help but wonder if this was Miley’s way of connecting her previous love for unicorns into a sexually charged birthday mirage. Miley arrived in ever shocking style, with brightly colored hair and face paint. She wore a lime green and pink cut-out dress, consisting of various materials, fur included – accompanied by silver leggings, which appeared to coordinate perfectly with the star atop her head. Her rumored new love interest, Patrick Schwarzenegger, was by her side most of the night wearing a pilot themed jumpsuit and matching face paint.

Family, friends, and fans alike have grown accustomed to the wild ways Miley has adopted over the last few years; however, she never ceases to amaze us by inventing new elements of surprise. Friends and guests at the Happyland birthday bash were allowed the opportunity to ride the mechanical phallus, which Miley requested to be present onsite. With sexual connotations and invested innuendos, partygoers embraced themselves in thematic indulgence late into the night, with festivities wrapping up around 2 a.m.

Miley took a moment from partying with friends and guests to pose with her tongue out next to an over-sized pizza cake. She later posted the photo to her Instagram, as she has never been one to shy away from her fans, or cameras for that matter. Blow up dolls, inflatable unicorns, and neon colors illuminated the night and Miley smiled on as her creative thought process came to life.

While the party appeared to be a success, those who attended have the creative party planner, Jeff Beacher to thank. Social media blew up once again, after more photos surfaced. Miley continues to break free of any societal norms placed within her path.
