A 3-year-old girl in Indiana decided that Santa shouldn’t be left along to eat at a Bob Evans restaurant recently, and ended up joining him for his meal.

Gracie Lynn was at the restaurant in Evansville on Wednesday when she saw Santa sitting in a nearby booth eating breakfast alone. She asked her mom if she could keep him company, and mom agreed, picking up the camera to take a picture of the moment, sending it to local station KSLA.

Santa was instantly recognizable with his trademark white beard, red suspenders, and glasses, prompting the visit from the young child. KSLA shared the photo online, which received 21,000 likes and was shared by 3,500 people.

Gracie and Santa talked for a while, and she even asked if she could live with him and Mrs. Claus. Gracie didn’t make any requests on what she wanted for Christmas, according to KSLA. She is, however, anxiously awaiting her baby brother James, who is due in a few weeks.

Santa said he thinks Gracie is “pretty special,” and she will get a good surprise this year.
