Movember Inspires ‘Let It Grow’ Frozen Parody

The Movember Foundation continues its long-running campaign this year to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers.

Guitarist and vocalist for Indie/Folk band In the Wilderness, Jesse Hawkins, and friend Richard Annett are plugging for No Shave November with a rendition of the Disney blockbuster Frozen’s hit song, “Let it Go.” The revised cover title? “Let it Grow.”

November’s arrival brings with it an increase in fuzzy-faced men, and it’s not just for the extra insulation during the chilly months. The Movember Foundation continues its long-running campaign this year to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers and men’s health issues in general by asking men to quit shaving for the month of November—and they promise you’ll look and feel good doing it. “Let it Grow” aims to show just how empowering beards can be, with Hawkins singing about shedding his inhibitions and insecurities all while keeping the hair on his face.

“Don’t let them trim, don’t let them shave, be the burly man every girl will crave,” Hawkins croons, in the hopes of inspiring men to take part in No Shave November for a good cause. Hawkins has a full beard while serenading his internet audience, as does Annett, who does the backup dancing in the video.

“Let it Grow” aims to motivate men from all walks of life to keep their razor in the medicine cabinet this November to promote awareness.
