Walker was killed in a car crash on November 30.

Actor Vin Diesel called Paul Walker “a special angel” at the premiere of the Fast & Furious 7 trailer on Saturday, November 1.

Walker was killed on November 30 when the Porsche he was riding in crashed and burst into flames while traveling at 93 miles per hour. According to the coroner’s report, Walker died of “severe blunt head, neck and chest trauma.”

Walker will be sorely missed by his fellow actors.

“When you watch our movie, all the differences of skin tone and language go out the window,” Diesel said at the premiere.

“All you see is family and that started with the brotherhood of Dom and Brian and it has extended to Fast & Furious 7, where, when you think of family, you think of Fast & Furious,” he noted. “And it’s touching because, you know, again, we lost such a special person, a special angel. That was the beginning of that and allowed for us to have this multicultural brotherhood and family.”

Diesel isn’t the only Fast & Furious castmember who is struggling with Walker’s death. Returning castmember Jordana Brewster told Cosmopolitan magazine that Walker’s death was “the most difficult, intense thing I’ve ever been through.”

“Just yesterday, I had a moment where I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m never going to feel the way I felt when I hugged him,'” she added.

Diesel, Walker and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are joined in the film by Michelle Rodriguez, Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black, as well as rookies Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell.

The trailer has been viewed by nearly nine million people.
