Daredevil Nik Wallenda set to walk blindfolded between Chicago skyscrapers

Wallenda will reportedly complete the crossing without a safety harness.

Daredevil Nik Wallenda, a seventh-generation member of the Flying Wallendas family, will walk blindfolded between two Chicago skyscrapers Sunday, The Associated Press reports.

Wallenda will complete two walks tonight. According to WGNtv.com, the daredevil will walk between Marina City’s west Tower and the Leo Burnett building and then he’ll walk wearing a blindfold between the two towers of Marina city.

To market Wallenda’s death-defying walks, a mobile game, called “SkyBalance by Nik Wallenda,” was launched Friday. Users try to get Nik safely from one building to the next.

“I’m looking forward to seeing if there are any master players out there who can stay balanced on the virtual wire as long as I’m on the high wire this Sunday,” Wallenda said in a statement obtained by the Chicago Tribune.

According to The AP, Wallenda will reportedly complete the crossing without a safety harness. The AP adds that the Discovery Channel will show the walks on a 10-second delay so that they can witch to advertisements or another show if Wallenda slips and falls.
