Halloween bandits stole Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Eliza Dushku’s $4,000 Louis Vuitton purse in Providence, Rhode Island, on Friday, TMZ reports.

The bandits were reportedly wearing costumes when the robbery took place.

The incident occurred when Dushku was unloading items from her car at a Providence hotel.

Police told E! News that the actress put her purse on the ground and someone at the hotel grabbed it and left. Authorities identified two suspects after reviewing surveillance video of the area.

Shortly after the incident, Dushku began tweeting and continued to update her fans as the saga unfolded.

“Was just robbed in front of my hotel a few hrs ago,” she tweeted.

“Really upset. It’s been a long night. The 2 men are in my hotel currently & ‘notthin can be done,'” the actress tweeted before reaching out to her fans for help. “One of the guys wore a GOLD HEAD TO TOE ‘Ceasar’ outfit. Anyone in RI, ring a bell? Help.”

After her purse was found and returned to her, she let her fans know that her Halloween had a happy ending after all.

“Update:men found in hotel, w/my luggage, apprehended & spending wknd in jail until+. U guys helped this happen. I am VERY grateful. C u soon,” she tweeted.
