Jeb's said has said that his father is "more than likely" to run for the Republican presidential nomination.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush hasn’t officially declared his candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, but it’s clear that he already knows who is number one Democratic competitor is.
Speaking in Colorado on behalf of several Republican candidates, George W. Bush’s brother slammed a comment made by former First Lady Hillary Clinton at an event last week on jobs.
“This last week I saw something that was breathtaking, a candidate — a former secretary of state who was campaigning in Massachusetts — where she said that ‘don’t let them tell you that businesses create jobs,'” Bush told his audience, according to The Associated Press. “Well the problem in America today is that not enough jobs are being created, [but] they are created by business.”
Clinton clarified her comment on Monday, saying that she “short-handed” her remark.
Speaking on Sunday, George P. Bush, Jeb’s son, told ABC News that his father is “more than likely” to run for the nation’s highest political office. “If you had asked me a few years back, I would’ve said it was less likely,” he added.
