"It's a disease," Daniel Radcliffe said of his interest in memorizing lyrics from fast songs.

Daniel Radcliffe can rap. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Fallon challenged “hip-hop lover” Daniel Radcliffe, a.k.a. Harry Potter, to rap Blackalicious’ tongue-twisting “Alphabet Aerobics” — a rap that is extremely challenging to do at a slow speed and out-of-this-world difficult at a normal speed.

Before taking the mic, Radcliffe was asked about his interest in music, specifically rap. The movie star admitted that he grew up listening to Eminem and was particularly fond of “The Real Slim Shady.” He boasted that he had memorized the lyrics to the popular rap when he was a kid.

“I’ve always had kind of an obsession with memorizing complicated, lyrically intricate and fast songs, I guess,” Daniel told Fallon. “It’s a disease.”

During Radcliffe’s performance of “Alphabet Aerobics,” Fallon stood in the background and held up cards with letters as the actor zipped from A to Z.

Questlove even encouraged the members of Blackalicious to watch Daniel’s rap.

“dear @realgiftofgab & @ChiefXcel make sure you and the entire @blackalicious_ fan base watches & dvr’s #FallonTonight. trust. #!!!!!!!!” Questlove tweeted.

The video, which was posted on Tuesday, has already received nearly four million views.
