George P. Bush said Sunday that his father, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, may run for the presidency in 2016.

“I think it’s more than likely that he’s giving this a serious thought in moving forward,” Bush said on ABC.

Jeb’s son, who is campaigning to be Texas land commissioner, is the fourth member of his father’s immediate family to say the Florida governor may have his sights set on the presidency. Some have publicly pressured Jeb to run.

The older brother of Jeb Bush, George W. Bush, told Fox News earlier this month, “ I think my brother wants to be president.” The former president encouraged his brother to go for it.

“If you had asked me a few years back,” said Jeb’s son, “I would’ve said it was less likely.”

In April, the younger brother of Jeb Bush, Neil, announced that their father, former president George H. W. Bush, thinks Jeb should run.

“If you asked Dad the same question, ‘Should Jeb run?’ he’d say yes,” Neil told CNN. When asked whether he had asked his father that question, he clarified, “I’ve heard him answer that question.”

“I think this is a great American country, great country. And if we can’t find more than two or three families to run for high office, that’s silly, because there are great governors and great eligible people to run,” Barbara Bush told C-SPAN.
