A man is wanted in three states for a litany of charges against him.

According to NECN.com, Gregory Lewis is wanted in Massachusetts, Colorado and North Carolina in connection with several crimes that include sexual assault, kidnapping and armed robbery. Lewis, 26-years-old, has been on the run since the middle of September when he released himself from a GPS ankle bracelet that kept track of him. The bracelet was placed on Lewis in August after he had been arrested and released to house arrest after being charged with statutory rape in Massachusetts. Lewis is accused of having sex with a child under the age of 14.

After cutting off his bracelet, it is believed that Lewis left the state and committed his next crime in North Carolina. According to ABC News Denver, Lewis met a woman on the dating site Plenty of Fish, and after setting up a meeting at a local motel, he attacked the woman, handcuffed her and stole her money. Shortly after his attack in North Carolina, Lewis returned to Massachusetts, where he broke into his stepfather’s home, tied him up and stole a gun. Officials believe that Lewis is in possession of a gun right now, and they are warning citizens that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

There are more reports of crimes believed to have been committed by Lewis in the Denver metro area, leading Colorado police to believe that he is currently in the state. Officials have issued a crime alert to warn the public. They are asking for local residents to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867  if they have any information on the whereabouts of Lewis.
