JK Rowling brews up more Potter content

She's baaaaccccck.

She has said time and time again that she is done with Harry Potter but it looks like JK Rowling has lied to the world once again. The author announced on Friday that fans of her wizardry world can expect something new from her on Halloween. Is this a trick or a treat?

Rowling posted on her site that she will be releasing a 1,700 word story about former Hogwarts’ professor Dolores Umbridge. This particular character first appeared in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and was portrayed by Imelda Staunton in the movie adaption.

This is not the first time Rowling has pulled something like this. She has continuously released new Potter related items ever since supposedly hanging up her wizard’s cloak in 2007 when the last book was completed. It seems like she cannot stop, even if she wanted to. Her and Potter are forever linked. It is like she is under a lifelong spell that keeps her from doing anything else.

Harry Potter first hit the shelves in 1997. It went on to become the most successful book series ever. For a decade fans eagerly waited to consume the seven books. The hysteria was taken to another level when the magical pages were taken to the big screen and turned into movies that spanned another decade, from 2001 to 2011 and starred Daniel Radcliffe as the title character.

Fans do not seem to mind Rowling’s constant releases though, even though she said she was done. For a diehard Potter fan can never have enough.
