Twenty-seven-year-old actress Candace Accola and musician Joe King became husband and wife at the Montegut House in New Orleans, with several of The Vampire Diaries co-stars attending the ceremony.
Candice Accola, star of The Vampire Diaries, married Joe King, guitarist with The Fray, on Saturday, reports Eonline.
The bride, who plays vampire Caroline Forbes on the CW series, and King, 34, were wed at the Montegut House in New Orleans, said her representative to E! News.
The 27-year old actress and singer wore a gorgeous strapless wedding gown with an asymmetrical skirt, designed by Monique Lhuiller and walked down the aisle to musical accompaniment by Trombone Shorty.
“Officially Mr. And Mrs. King! Best night ever!” said Accola on her Instagram page, alongside a black and white of herself being kissed by her new husband.
King, who wore a Tom Ford tuxedo, also shared a photo of himself with his bride.
“My wife, she makes me wanna dance,” said King.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds followed a popular French Quarter wedding tradition by celebrating with a second line parade down the streets of New Orleans, including the famous Bourbon Street, leading guests to the reception.
As she danced through the city with her groom and their guests, the bride carried a white parasol.
Several of the television series co-stars attended the wedding, including Nina Dobrev, who plays main character Elena Gilbert; Paul Wesley, who plays vampire Stefan Salvatore; Michael Trevino, who plays Tyler Lockwood, and Claire Holt, who plays Rebekah on both The Vampire Diaries and the show spinoff, The Originals, which is set and filmed in New Orleans.
Kayla Ewell, who played Vicki Donovan on the show, served as a bridesmaid, according to People. The executive producer of the show, Julie Plec, also attended.
