Matthew Morrison gave his bride Renee Puente a special gift at their wedding. The 35-year-old Glee star serenaded his new wife in front of 50 guests at a private estate in Maui, Hawaii, where the event took place. Puente, 31, also put on a Hula dance, which the groom joined in. He wore a Brooks Brothers tuxedo and she wore a custom-made Gustavo gown with lace overlay. Both had flowers and leis as accessories.

Morrison and Puente started dating in 2011. In 2013, with the help of Elton John and David Furnish, the couple announced their engagement. He is an actor known for his role on Glee as the teacher Mr. Schuester, and she is a model and actress who appeared in the film Divergent. He popped the question with a blue sapphire ring. Morrison also took to Twitter to show his happiness. “An incredible night of LOVE @ejaf Ball. I’m going to marry my best friend! Happy day for me and @ Renne_Puente.”

The wedding was an intimate affair with close friends and family. Soloist Kiley Dean sang Feels Like Home as Puente walked down the aisle. After the Hula performance, they sang a duet of Starry Eyed/Video Games by Laura Benanti. It is fitting with all the musical performances on Glee that Morrison would include a number or two in his wedding. He has a history in music, appearing in Hairspray on Broadway. It was a lovely event filled with music and dance. No doubt his fans are proud. The wedding came a little early, as Morrison predicted they would not be getting married until 2015. But apparently this was the year to tie the knot.  The couple wants to have children, so starting a family could be next on their list. Now, the newlyweds are enjoying their honeymoon.
