The New York City Police Department has released video of the man who emerged from a subway grate and tossed a smoke bomb into Bar Pitti in Greenwich Village, The Associated Press reports.
The AP notes that the yellow subway grate seen in the video is one of NYC’s many emergency subway exits.
According to NJ.com, the young man tossed a smoke bomb into the trendy restaurant and then exited the same way he arrived.
No injuries were reported, but the pink smoke created by the smoke bomb was a nuisance for diners, including Once Upon A Time actress Rose McGowan. Following the incident she tweeted, “Someone just threw two red smoke bombs into the restaurant I was eating in. Eyes are burning.”
The video, entitled “Reckless Endangerment (Manhattan), has been seen nearly 1,000 times by curious YouTube users.
“The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following suspect wanted for Reckless Endangerment within the confines of the 6th Precinct,” a caption accompanying the video reads.
