The Drumline actor and comedian Nick Cannon was previously legally barred from speaking publicly about his split with famous singer and performer Mariah Carey. Cannon is most recognized now as the “America’s Got Talent” host but his recent opening about the divorcing the singer Carey has taken the spotlight.

“I’m just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day,” according to Fashiontimes. Nick went on to painfully address getting his Mariah tattoo covered over, which was revealed by paparazzi and TMZ without him knowing.

“It’s not finished yet,” he explained. “I’ll talk to you when it gets finished. It wasn’t supposed to be revealed yet. I was not in the middle of the street. I was on private property. I didn’t know they were there. That’s how sneaky paparazzi are.”

Fashiontimes continues his report, “I gotta be careful. I had just gotten it done,” the AGT host added. “It was painful. I couldn’t have anything touching it.”

Carey and Cannon have two kids together, twin boys names Monroe and Moroccan, who they have previously referred to as “dem babies.”

Nick went on to tell the magazine, “they are great man. They are doing amazing. They are on the road right now with mommy on tour,” he admitted. “It’s all love, man,” the former Nickelodeon host told reporters.

“I just wish her nothing but the best,” he said of estranged wife Carey. “We’re in contact constantly. You know, you might have an off night here and there, but she’s one of the greatest performers and entertainers of all time.”
