Charlie Sheen sued for cocaine-fueled assault and sexual battery at the dentist

Dental technician claims the actor attacked her while high on drugs during a dentist visit in September.

Charlie Sheen’s dental technician Margarita Palestina filed a lawsuit against the Anger Management star Friday, claiming that he committed assault, battery, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress on Sept. 25 while seeking treatment at a Los Angeles dentist’s office for an abscess. According to Palestino, Sheen was “high on a combination of crack cocaine, Theradol and alcohol” during the dental visit, causing the 49-year-old to become violent and threaten to kill her.

In her complaint to the Superior Court of the State of California, Palestino states that she was assisting Dr. George Bogen and Dr. Jaime Azdair in an examination room on Sept. 25 when Sheen arrived in the dentist office. Bogen ordered the dental technician to place a nitrous oxide mask on Sheen, but he quickly pulled it off an shouted, “I’m going to f–––ing kill you!” to everyone in the room. When Palestino tried to replace the mask at Bogen’s request, Sheen grabbed her “left breast area” and then “grabbed her bra strap, and forcefully pulled it down in an attempt to open or remove her bra.”

Palestino claims that Sheen attacked Azdair with a knife, but admits she was not in the examination room when that supposedly happened. Upon re-entering the examination room, Palestino claims the room was a mess and that she was forced to clean the spit that covered the walls. According to the complaint, Bogen told Palestino that Sheen was “high on a combination of crack cocaine, Theradol and alcohol” during his visit, and Sheen’s personal assistant and body guard gave her $500 and said, “This is for your troubles.”

Palestino is asking for compensation for “physical injury, pain and suffering, and mental anguish,” and demands a trial by jury.

“Our client is the victim of heinous acts perpetrated by Charlie Sheen,” said Neama Rahmani of West Coast Trial Lawyers, the law firm representing the dental technician. “She will not be intimidated by Sheen or those who are attempting to cover up for him. We look forward to exposing the truth and vindicating her rights in court.”

Sheen’s lawyer Marty Singer told the Daily News Friday that the entire alleged incident is entirely fictional, stating, “This is a ridiculous lawsuit by an opportunist looking for her 15 minutes of fame. She filed this absurd claim after she was notified by her dentist employer that she disclosed confidential information in violation of HIPAA rules. We are confident my client will prevail in this matter.”

“I think a tray was knocked over, but no one was injured. No knife was pulled. He had a bad reaction with the two drugs. That’s it. There was no knife involved. He was not high on any illegal substances. And the LAPD has not contacted Charlie or any of his representatives,” Jeff Ballard, a representative for the actor, told The News last month.
