Action junkies get more bang for their buck with GoPro’s Hero 4

GoPro is releasing its nest generation of action cameras, the GoPro Hero 4. This camera will offer improved specifications that should appeal to any action junkie.

GoPro is set to launch a new line of cameras, the Hero 4. These refreshed cameras are able to shoot high-frame-rate and high-definition video and should appeal to any action junkie.

The new camera was released on October 4, and had gained quite a lot of consumer attention even before it was released.

The camera is able to capture 4K video with ultra-wide viewing angles at either 34, 30 or 35 frames per second. This is quite a lot better than the predecessor to the Hero 4, the Hero 3+, which could only capture 4K video at 15 frames per second.

The Hero 4 is also able to capture 2.7K video at 50 frames per second, and 1080p, 960p, and 720p video at 120 frames per second. Not only that, but the camera also comes with a new screen found on the back of the device, which should help users be able to frame shots and view pictures and videos without having to connect the camera to another device.

The Hero 4 also adds Bluetooth connectivity, meaning that uses can now connect to other devices or online with WiFi and Bluetooth.

With all those features, one would expect the camera to be a little pricey. The Hero 4 Black Edition sells for $499.99, while the Silver Edition sells for $399.99.

GoPro as a company is now around ten years old and is based in San Mateo. Since the time that the company was first started, it has made its way to the top as one of the best and most used action cameras on the market.
