Amanda Bynes’ troubles seem to be going from bad to worse. The former Nickelodeon star was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs on Sunday in California, and now news is breaking that she had recently been kicked out of her fashion program.

TMZ spoke to several classmates at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in Irvine who reported Bynes had been showing up to class clearly under the influence. One student said Bynes always wore dark sunglasses and would laugh at inappropriate times. The student also claimed Bynes would pay her classmates to do her homework and was caught cheating on a test, which led to her dismissal last month.

Radar Online spoke to another source who reported that Bynes had been doing well while still under her parents’ conservatorship. The source was quoted as saying, “Amanda just stopped going to classes…her instructors tried to reach out to Amanda…but got no response. As a result, Amanda flunked out. It’s really sad because Amanda had been doing so well.”

Another source claimed Bynes had stopped taking her psychiatric medication and was abusing both marijuana and alcohol, reporting, “she is absolutely out of control.”

TMZ reports they have spoken to multiple sources who claim Bynes’ parents are not only completely in the dark about where she is or what she is doing but are in denial about her mental health. They claim there is no chance of the conservatorship being re-established.

Bynes has yet to comment on the situation.
