Singer Jennifer Lopez had an unusual reaction to being struck by a drunk driver. The pop diva was in a car with actress Leah Remini and their children when the accident happened. She posted a photo on Instagram showing the two women calm and Lopez with perfectly glossed lips. The driver in a pickup truck made a hit and run, but was later arrested. No injuries were reported.

The accident took place at a red light on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. Lopez, 45, sent out several hashtags indicated her relief at being safe and anger at the drunk driver. She wrote, “Sitting at a light. Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok!!!” The children involved were the singer’s 6-year-old twins Max and Emme, and Remini’s 10-year-old daughter Sofia. A photo of the kids showed they appeared fine. One of the women made a call to 911 and deputies quickly showed up. The driver was found shortly after and arrested for a DUI.

The two women are good friends and were recently seen out to dinner. Lopez and Remini, 44, were shaken up from the hit and run, but that didn’t stop them from taking a selfie to show they were ok and well dressed, with pouty glossy lips. The actress was wearing a black ensemble and matching floppy hat, while the singer had on a plaid shirt and hoop earrings. It seems like a strange way to recover from a drunk driver, but it is something only pop diva Lopez would do. She took to social media to assure fans that she, Remini, and the kids were fine. All the hashtags used also helped explain the situation. There are no details on the name of the driver or their condition.
