Grammy nominated Keyshia Cole was arrested on suspicion of battery Friday morning in West Hollywood after allegedly going after a woman in Birdman’s apartment.

According to TMZ Cole showed up to Birdman, her rumored beau’s West Hollywood apartment on September 19 at 5am. After getting past security she came to find another woman with the Cash Money Records CEO. That is when she apparently lost it and scratched the woman. Los Angeles police officer Nuria Vanegas said that the singer was then arrested after someone did a private arrest. She was booked for what TMZ says was “battery and an outstanding reckless driving warrant.”

This is not the first time Cole has been on the bad end of a relationship. She has alluded to being cheated on many times in interviews by her former husband, Daniel Gibson. Those two had began dating in 2009 and later married in 2011. They split in March 2014 after having one child together, Daniel Gibson Jr. who is currently four-years-old.

Cole was released later that Friday afternoon on a $45,000 bail. When reached out to for comment by email, her publicist by the media – there was no response.

Back in 2004 Cole hit the music scene when she was featured on Eve’s “Never.” She then released her debut record the following year called The Way It Is. it was not until 2007 that she had her biggest hit on the charts with “Let It Go” featuring Lil’ Kim and Missy Elliot. It reached number seven on the Top 40 and shot to number one on the R&B charts. She went on to have two more number one R&B hits in 2008 from her album Just Like You. Cole is set to release her sixth album this October called Point of No Return.
