Anti-Semitic candidate for U.S. Senate: ‘With Jews We Lose’

Randsall has littered Northern Kentucky with highly questionable campaign signs that read "With Jews We Lose: Robert Randsall for U.S. Senate."

“What decade is it?”

That question has been posed by many since getting wind of Robert Randsall, an openly racist and anti-Semitic Kentucky man who is launching a write-in campaign for the United States Senate. In fact, Randsall has even littered Northern Kentucky with highly questionable campaign signs that read “With Jews We Lose: Robert Randsall for U.S. Senate.”

Randsall’s behavior is not the surprising part of the story. For years, the man has been associated with numerous racist and anti-Semitic organizations and websites. According to the USA Today, he’s been linked to a website that sells “white supremacist music”; to the National Alliance, which purports to offer “News for White People…By White People; and to what has been described as “a Ku Klux Klan-type rally” that took place in Randsall’s hometown of Florence, Kentucky earlier this year.

As a write-in candidate, especially one with a campaign platform that will attract as much negative press as Randsall’s, the politician has no real chance of being elected However, it is completely possible that Randsall’s main goal is to spread his vitriol publicly, not to gain public office.

Indeed, Randsall said that he was “chomping at the bit” to launch his campaign and get himself and his ideas on TV and mainstream radio. There, he thinks he will be “primed to start a legitimate ‘conversation’ about race.” Randsall also believes that many people are starting to “wake up” to his beliefs, which include that “there is no such thing as racial equality.”

Randsall has even responded to the critics that cannot believe someone like this actually exists in this decade.

“That is one thing you guys love to say, ‘it is 2014, how can these racists be out here?’ Well, it is 2014. It has been six or seven decades since white people stood up for themselves and it is about time we start doing so,” he said to a Cincinnati newspaper.
