Paul Walker would have turned 41-years-old today but sadly he will never see another birthday and his his daughter, Meadow, will grow up without her father.

On what would have been her father;s 41st birthday, Meadow Walker posted a touching tribute to the actor on her Instagram page. The 15-year-old shared a photo of herself as a child in the arms of her father with the caption “Happy birthday, I love you.” It’s hard to imagine how many emotions are behind those words.

It’s a heartbreaking message from a young girl who lost her father far too soon and far too tragically. Apparently, Walker’s brother , Cody, also posted a message that showed how painful this first birthday without his brother is.

“Today I’m reminded of how much I miss you. But at the same time, this day is also a reminder of how many years of memories, adventures, lessons and love I was lucky enough to share with you. Today is a celebration of all those years,” he wrote, according to People magazine.

Cody and Caleb Walker filled in for their brother during filming of “the Fast and Furious 7”, which Walker was filming when he was killed in a fiery car crash in California.

It’s such a sad day for the entire Walker family and for those who knew and loved the actor. Though his legacy will live on through his films and memories, nothing can replace the real thing, especially for Meadow Walker, who now has to grow up without her father in her life.
