"What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most," the couple said.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Lauren Conrad and William Tell wed on Saturday, and according to Today.com the couple said “I do” in front of a small group of friends and family, along a sunny backdrop featuring the California coastline.

In an official statement to US, the happy couple said that their lives were off to a fantastic start.

“What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,” the couple said.

The pair met on Valentine’s Day 2012 during a blind date with mutual friends encouraging the two to start dating. Conrad, 28, and Tell, 34, have enjoyed a lengthy courtship of two years.  Whether enjoying Conrad’s hoedown themed birthday party or taking a trip to Disneyland, it’s safe to say the two are perfect together.

At Tell’s law school graduation in May, Conrad snapped a photo of the two of them, with her being  dressed in his graduation robe.

She also enjoyed a four-day long bachelorette party in Mexico with her closest girlfriends, enjoying cocktails and sunshine. Conrad, never forgetting her man, posted photos of the fun-filled vacation with the cheeky hashtag #donttellmrtell.

Conrad is best known for staring in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills. Since her television days, she’s launched two fashion lines: LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown. She is also an author, penning the trilogy L.A. Candy in 2010 and the spin-off The Fame Game series in 2012.

William Tell is a musician and a former member of the band Something Corporate, playing rhythm guitar and singing backup vocals. He released his debut solo album, You Can Hold Me Down, in 2007. He recently graduated from the USC Gould School of Law.
