Awkward: Kanye West orders disabled fan to stand up at concert in Australia [VIDEO]

After it was confirmed that the fan did indeed have a disability, the concert continued.

It’s said that Jesus healed a blind man. Maybe that’s why Yeezus thought he could make a disabled fan walk again.

E! Online reports that rapper Kanye West singled out a disabled fan for not standing up at his show in Sydney, Australia, on Friday. The extremely awkward incident took place when West asked his fans to get on their feet.

“I can’t do this show until everybody stand up,” West reportedly told the crowd. “Unless you got a handicap pass, and you get special parking and s–t.”

When he spotted someone sitting down (in a wheelchair), he asked the crowd to confirm that the man had a disability.

“Is he in a wheelchair?” he asked.

“There’s literally two people left,” he added. “There’s two people left. They don’t want to stand up. This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song. It’s unbelievable.”

After it was confirmed that the fan did indeed have a disability, the concert continued.

Despite the awkwardness of the situation, West really wasn’t trying to offend the person he singled out.

“There was no malicious intent to offend,” an insider told PEOPLE magazine. “Anyone that has been to a Kanye concert knows that he asks for crowd participation.”
