"Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident."
A party in south Anchorage, Alaska turned violent last weekend after the arrival of some well-known guests: the Palin family. The details remain somewhat sketchy, but according to reports, upon arriving at the house party Track Palin spotted a former boyfriend of Willow’s, which led to some pushing and shoving, then an altercation allegedly involving more members of the family, and then finally, the entire Palin clan being asked to leave the premises.
But before they exited the scene, the former First Family of Alaska certainly made an impression.
“Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly,” sources told local Alaska Political blogger Amanda Coyne. “And it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, ‘Don’t you know who I am!’”
The story spread like wildfire through gossip sites like Gawker and Wonkette this week. But now, even more mainstream publications like the Alaska Dispatch News are running with it.
Anchorage police confirmed to the Dispatch News that roughly 20 people were involved in the fight, and that the Palins were present.
“A preliminary investigation by police revealed that a party had been taking place at a nearby residence and a fight had broken out between multiple subjects outside of the residence,” said police spokesperson Jennifer Castro. “None of the involved parties wanted to press charges at the time of the incident and no arrests were made at the scene. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident. Some of the Palin family members were in attendance at the party.”
