Heinous ASL prank moves Drew Carey to donate 10,000 reward for catching pranksters

Drew Carey offers to drop $10,000 to help find the teens in Ohio who dumped a bucket of urine and feces on their autistic peer.

Everyone has seen the ASL ice bucket challenges for months now, but some teens in Ohio took it too far and their dirty prank urged Drew Carey to donate to not only ASL but to another effort as well.

The concept is simple – pour a bucket of ice on one’s head and then donate money to charity. Well some heinous teens in Ohio thought it would be funny to dump a bucket of urine and feces on an autistic peer. The teen’s mother found the video on her son’s cellphone and was nothing short of disgusted and horrified that anyone would do such a thing.

Carey felt the same way. When he heard about the prank he tweeted, “WTF? Just saw this. Horrendous. These kids should be arrested and expelled.” He later added, “If the Bay Village PD wants to start a reward fund to find who did this, contact me. I’ll donate $10,000.”

A Cleveland native himself, Carey felt like he had to do something more. He then said he would donate the same amount to another charity, Autism Speaks. It was offered as a reward to catch the culprits.

Bay Village High School also said they would take action towards whoever was behind the prank as well even though it happened after school hours. They feel those involved need to suffer the consequences for their actions. The school also held a vigil for the victim before their most recent football game on Friday night.

The ice bucket challenge is not all bad though. Millions have been raised thanks to normal folks getting in on the action and of course all the celebrities. Everyone from billionaires like Oprah Winfrey to pop stars like Justin Timberlake to the judges of The Voice have stepped up to help out ASL.
