‘Boardwalk Empire’ and ‘Sons Of Anarchy’: Beginning of the end

"Boardwalk Empire" and "Sons Of Anarchy" will be ending soon. How will they go about creating a great season finale?

Fans of the hit HBO series “Boardwalk Empire” and FX’s “Sons Of Anarchy” will begin their season finale on Sunday and Tuesday, respectively, and fans can only hope that the creators of both series are careful in how the handle the ending of their favorite show.

AS with anything, there needs to be an end in sight and sadly, it seems the time has come for both of these shows. They’re equally popular but their time has come to shut down and move on.

Each episode of a TV show is important but the season finale is probably one of the most important parts of the entire show. It can either turn fans into lifelong fans or turn them off of the show altogether.

The UK website the Guardian has a few ideas as to how “Boardwalk Empire” and “Sons Of Anarchy” can end their seasons tastefully, with no hard feelings and still go out with a bang.

One important thing, according to the Guardian, is to be original. Obviously, not too original but original enough that it is memorable. There’s no point in ending a season with a lackluster idea that has been used before.

Another point the Guardian makes is that they need to fulfill their promises and not be boring. Fans always appreciate a show that doesn’t leave them hanging when it ends. No one likes unanswered questions, especially loyal TV viewers.

No matter how these two series end, there’s no doubt those loyal fans will stick by them to the gritty end. And one thing it’s guaranteed to be is gritty.
