After an arguably embarrassing and controversial year of twerking and tongue-waggling, Cyrus has achieved the Guinness’s honor of being the “most searched pop artist on the Internet.” Its hard to admit that Cyrus is worth mentioning with these other two legendary artists after considering why they are in the 2015 Guinness Book of World Records.

The metal heads of Metallica may not be the most googled band or famous for their twerking, the legendary group has become the most well-traveled band in history. Metallica performed in Antarctica for scientists and fans becoming the first group and only band to have played a concert on all seven continents of the world. This is certainly an achievement worth mentioning and stands a testament to the bands popularity and success.

Marshall Mathers aka Eminem rapped his way into the 2015 Guinness Book of World Records receiving the prize for most words in a hit single. His song “Rap God” was filled with 1,560 words in just six minutes and four seconds. The songs name presents an irony to say the least.

The three super sensations wont be the only celebrities to join the 2015 Guinness World Records book, artist Katy Perry made the pages after populating the most Twitter followers at 52,463,838 and counting followers.
