Singer Ciara and rapper Future have reunited as a couple, according to reports by TMZ.

The couple are reportedly sharing a home once again, after calling off their engagement last month.

The pair have a child together, 4-month-old Future Zahir Wilburn.

Sources report that it is important to Ciara that their child grow up with his father “around 24/7.” The singer wasn’t accepting of a shared parenting situation and decided to give her once-fiance another try.

The same sources add that Ciara “believes Future’s a good father and that it’s best for their son if his dad’s there.”

Ciara reportedly broke off the engagement in August after believing the rapper to have cheated on her while he was on tour. The couple announced their engagement back in October.

Neither Ciara nor Future have ever publicly acknowledged their break-up, leading some to speculate if there was ever a break-up at all.

Ciara granted an interview to US Weekly, conducted on Aug. 12, before news of their broken engagement made headlines.

The story, published after the split became public, was accompanied by the headline, “Exclusive: Ciara Talks About Motherhood and Life After Future Split: I’m Focused, ‘Very Happy.'”

Ciara later expressed her disappointment in the story, claiming that the magazine manipulated her words in order to sensationalize the story.

Two weeks ago, Future posted an image to Instagram of himself sitting in a music studio holding two iPhones. “I don’t respond to rumors,” reads the post. “I respond to money.”
