Will Hayden faces new rape allegations, in addition to his previous charges of molestation and crimes against nature.
Reality television star Will Hayden’s show Sons of Guns has been canceled, and his gun company, Red Jacket Firearms LLC, has distanced itself from the star, following his recent arrest, reports Fox News.
Hayden was arrested Tuesday and booked on Wednesday for aggravated rape; his bail was set at $250,000.
According to detectives’ interviews with the alleged victim, Hayden allegedly raped the girl — his daughter, according to TMZ — “almost daily” from March 2013 to July 2014. She was 11 years old when the alleged abuse began, according to police documents.
The alleged victim also noted that she didn’t report the crimes because Hayden had told her, “Don’t tell them nothing, because I’m all you got.”
In the wake of the arrest, Hayden has lost both his show and his company.
“Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of Sons of Guns and cancel the series,” said the Discovery Channel, the network on which the show airs, in a statement.
On Tuesday, the firearms company that Hayden founded posted a statement, indicating it has legally distanced itself from the former reality television star.
“Red Jacket Firearms LLC has initiated and received full legal separation as an entity, from William M. Hayden,” the statement read. “With heavy hearts, we will be continuing to operate and ensure the fulfillment of new customer orders, back orders and to provide support to those affected by these new developments.”
This isn’t the first arrest for Hayden — this month.
On Aug. 9, Hayden was arrested for molestation of a juvenile and aggravated crimes against nature. At the time, Hayden rebuked the charges, claiming that they were false allegations brought forward by an angry ex-girlfriend. He was released from jail after posting a $150,000 bond shortly thereafter.
Will Hayden now faces the new aggravated rape charge, in addition to the previous charges of molestation and crimes against nature.
