Vampires from two different worlds have found one another and apparently it is very serious. The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder and Twilight’s Nikki Reed have reportedly moved in with one another. Will their union ultimately destroy one of their jobs?

Reed was married to American Idol’s Paul McDonald up until May when she filed for divorce. Somerhalder was still a little fresh off his breakup from Diaries costar Nina Dobrev. Those two had been split since 2013, so not as fresh as his new lady and her former beau. Nevertheless the two vampires found their way to one another this July and have allegedly moved in together down in Atlanta.

This is a new environment for Reed, who had been living in Los Angeles working on her album with her ex-husband. The move seems necessary for the couple if they did not want to do the long distance thing. Somerhalder is stuck there filming Diaries, and reports say that his new love has visited the set every day.

That may or may not be a reason for concern since it is shoving his new relationship in his ex, Dobrev’s face. A source has said, “It’s a little awkward right now because they have the same friend circle as Nina and no one is quite sure how to react, but it’s not like Nikki stole him away from Nina: They’ve been broken up more than a year. But it’s still a bit awkward for everyone, they’re all waiting for Nina’s blessing.”

While Twilight is dead and gone now – a memory in pop culture now, The Vampire Diaries is heading into its sixth season and there are rumors that only two out of the three main cast members will be around for season seven. So that means either Somerhalder, Dobrev or a wild card in this situation, Paul Wesley, will leaving. That is all hearsay for now.
