Iggy Azalea may be one “Fancy” singer but that doesn’t mean she isn’t prone to embarrassing situations. Apparently, Azalea took a tumble off the stage during a performance ahead of Sunday’s VMA’s and although the video might make it look as though she was hurt, she actually came out of the incident unscathed.

According to MTV, Azalea was performing her hit song “Fancy” at the Avalon for Time Warner Cable and Lifebeat’s MTV Video Awards when she accidentally took a  misstep and went stumbling off the stage.

Ever the professional, Azalea immediately got back up on stage, laughing about the fall, and kept on going as if nothing had went wrong.

The Australian rapper isn’t the first  performer to fall of stage. It happened to country singer Luke Bryan too, only his fall was worse. Luckily, Bryan was also able to continue on with the show without making a big fuss.

Some people might think that celebrities are sitting on a pretty pedestal but they’re not. They make mistakes and have accidents too, only when something happens to them it’s usually on a large scale and the whole world is watching as it unfolds. Azalea will bounce back, no doubt, she’s got enough sass for a few falls here and there.

With a career that is on fire, Azalea is definitely going to make headlines when she falls off stage. Had she made a big deal of it and ran away crying, the whole incident might have been handled differently in the media but since she got right back up and went back to singing, all is well in the world.
