Jessica Alba on ‘Sin City’ sequel: ‘I got to kick so much a**’

The actress debuted two gorgeous looks for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For on Tuesday night.

Jessica Alba stunned at her latest event. According to the Daily Mail, the star of Robert Rodriguez’s new film, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, turned heads at the Hollywood premiere on Tuesday night. She walked the red carpet in a eye-catching electric blue strapless fitted gown and changed to a one-shoulder sparkling black dress for the after-party at a karaoke bar with cast-mates such as Bruce Willis and Rosario Dawson.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is a sequel from the Sin City movie in 2005, and Alba, 33, recently spoke to MTV News about the evolution of her character Nancy Callahan. In the original film, stripper Nancy was one of the few characters not out to kill anyone. However, the suicide of cop John Hartigan (Willis) turns Nancy into a hard- drinking woman bent on revenge against Senator Roark (played by Powers Booth). “I got a lot more action, I got to kick so much ass,” Alba said happily, noting the sequel allowed Nancy to be a dominant female character in a way not noted from the original film.

Alba also made headlines earlier in the week with her participation in the viral ALS ice bucket challenge. Nominated by Gwen Stefani, Alba’s video featured her getting doused while sitting next to singer Gavin Rossdale and Nicole Richie.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For hits movie theatres on August 22.
