There’s nothing the news loves more than a juicy celebrity divorce rumor, save for maybe a sex tape. When news broke that Beyonce and Jay Z might be divorcing, the internet practically broke down. Recently, rumors surface that Beyonce was asking Gwyneth Paltrow for advice on how to split from her media mogul husband without actual divorcing. According to Beyonce’s mom Tina, it’s all BS.

Conscious uncoupling? Not a chance, apparently.

TMZ’s cameras caught up with Tina as she was finishing up lunch with former Destiny’s Child co-member Kelly Rowland at Via Alloro in Beverly Hills. In what was an apparently rare moment of candidness, Tina Knowles opened up (a little) about Bey, Jay and the haters (spoiler: They’re gonna be haters).

“Everything is perfect,” she says when asked about the status of her daughter’s relationship. “I don’t even read the bull,” she replied in response to a query about how the media coverage of the divorce rumor makes her feel.

To her credit, Beyonce and Jay Z have been seen in public a lot recently. Then again, it’s a PR director’s job to keep their clients in control of the message until they’re ready to make a statement.
