The actress will portray fan favorite Mockingbird.
Actress Adrianna Palicki is set to guest star on Marvel’s comic book-based series Agents of Shield, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The actress, of Friday Night Lights fame, will portray Bobbi Morse, more commonly known as Mockingbird by fans. The show follows the fictional spy agency as they combat supernatural beings and elements.
She joins the cast for a guest spot on the series’ fifth episode of its second season. Patton Oswalt touched on the idea of the show featuring the Mockingbird character while playing Agents of Shield‘s Billy Koenig and Sam Koenig in a skit for Comic-Con back in July.

The actress joins the cast for a guest spot as Agents of Shield has been ramping up the show’s star power. Actors Kyle MacLachlan, Lucy Lawless, Reed Diamond and Nick Blood have all signed on to play different characters in the show’s second season.
