He’s found another good reason to laugh. Comedian and actor Kevin Hart is engaged. According to US Magazine, he popped the question to his girlfriend of 5 years, model Eniko Parrish on her birthday. “They’re both thrilled,” US magazine quotes a source near the couple.

Hart posted a picture of himself with Parrish behind him, hugging him and showing off a massive diamond ring on her finger, on his Instagram on Monday August 18. He captioned the happy photo, writing, “She said YEEEEESSSSS…..#Happy#MyRib.”

The happy news comes a few months after some serious relationship drama for Hart. His former wife, and mother of his two children, Torrei Hart is currently starring in a new reality show Atlanta Exes. According to Jezebel, Torrei made several references to Hart and Parrish during her promotional tour in May, claiming the two had an affair during Hart’s marriage to Torrei that helped explode the relationship. Hart responded with a long series of tweets criticizing his ex-wife and denying her claims, including one tweet that emphasized, “My woman has nothing to do with my past marriage problems in any way shape or form. It’s almost 7 yrs total of me not being with my Ex.”

Torrei responded via a statement to TMZ, insisting that Hart was lying and that Parrish was indeed “his mistress” during their marriage. She has not yet responded to the news about Hart and Parrish’s engagement.

Hart and Parrish have yet to announce formal wedding plans.
