Singer Justin Timberlake delivered a birthday wish to a special boy in the audience. During a concert at the SAP Center in San Jose, the 33-year-old led everyone into singing Happy Birthday for Julian Delan, who turned 8. He was with his mom and having a great time, yelling to get Timberlake’s attention. He danced and chanted “It’s my birthday! This is my present! I love you JT!” Though the mother was concerned about his noise, the pop star went over and sang to the young boy.
Delan’s parents were thrilled by Timberlake’s gesture. They went onto Facebook to thank the singer, and happy that people could look past the boy’s disability. His mother blogged about the event and posted a video. The singer is currently on his 20/20 Experience tour. It started in December of 2013 and will wrap up this coming December. The San Jose concert featured over 25,000 fans, and Delan was a special one among them. It is a birthday celebration he and his family will never forget.
There is also a photo on Instagram of Delan smiling, wearing a fedora hat and thrilled to be at the concert. The boy got Timberlake’s attention with the help of the crowd, and engaged with Delan. At first, he thought the boy was 7, but was corrected, and sang Happy Birthday to him. The kid was the star of that night, high-fiving with other concert-goers after the show. The kind gesture gained attention online, praising the singer for his serenade. The parents’ concerns about their son’s autism were put to rest as the night was memorable for them. Timberlake made a boy’s dreams come true and his parents happy to know the concert was a good birthday present. Fans all over thought it was a terrific moment as well.
