Series of unsolved thefts may delay filming of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’

Khloe, Kim and Kourtney refuse to film new season of popular E! show until their burglar is caught.

After discovering that they were the victims of another burglary, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have allegedly refused to continue filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians. A source close to the family told TMZ on Tuesday that the sisters believe the hefty thefts that keep plaguing them have been inside jobs, so they want to take extra security measures to help them find the thief before allowing their E! show’s crew back into their homes.

Last month, Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick discovered that a large sum of money was stolen from one of their bedrooms in their $70,000-a-month Hamptons rental home. Disick has now filed a complaint over what is being classified as third-degree larceny with the Southampton Town Police. The complaint says that an “unknown person did unlawfully remove” the money ”from an attaché case that was stored in a bedroom”.

This marks the third time that the Kardashian family have been the victims of theft this year. Kourtney revealed that $50,000 was stolen from her Calabasas home in February, and Khloe was recently robbed of $250,000 worth of jewelery. Law enforcement officials reportedly told TMZ they suspected the crimes were carried by somebody on the Keeping up with the Kardashians crew, as their were no signs of forced entry.

The Kardashians have reportedly hired additional security, installed more surveillance cameras and employed a rotating staff, but as their actions have not resulted in the identification of their thief, the sisters want Keeping Up With The Kardashians producers to force the crew to take lie detector tests. TMZ states that although filming for the show is set to begin in October, it may not start until the thief is caught.
