Christina Ricci gave birth to her and her husband James Heerdegen first child.
It was reported by MTV and numerous entertainment outlets Christina Ricci gave birth to her first baby boy. The former child star publicly confirmed her pregnancy earlier in May after the actress was seen leaving Los Angeles airport looking noticeably pregnant.
Ricci, 34, who gained her fame from her 1991 role in the “Addams Family” has continued her career landing a role as the acquitted murderer Lizzie Borden in a lifetime movie earlier this year. According to Us Weekly Ricci met her husband heerdegen on the set of her former ABC series “Pan Am” in 2011 marrying one another last october in New York City in 2013. Her husband James worked in production on the ABC series which starred Christina.
The new family has yet to release a name for their baby boy, but have told close friends they are looking forward to a change in pace from the fast demands of being an actor. Being able to settle down and focus on their newborn will allow the family to keep out of the spot light and raise their baby in private; something not regularly afforded to the “Addams Family” star.
While entertainment media congratulates the couple and their endeavor to start a family, people are still waiting on the name of the baby boy, and speculations suggest the couple will try and keep it that way for as long as possible. Ricci understanding the labors of childhood stardom and media attention welcomes the idea of privately raising her child away from the cameras. It has also not been reported weather or not the couple plans on having more children.
