Beyonce and Jay-Z have been rumored to be on the rocks ever since Queen B changed the lyrics to her song “Resentment” at a July concert. Though they still look every bit the happy couple, Bey and Jay are facing rumors of marital strife. So, what’s the deal?

Well, it’s hard to say what’s really going on. If you attended any of the “On The Run Tour” shows, you wouldn’t think there was anything amiss. The couple looked happy and showed emotion for each other like never seen before. Of course, there is the slight fact that Beyonce changed her lyrics to make them more fitting of her own life, but maybe she just did it for publicity.

Either way, the power couple is now reportedly hiding out at Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s home in Brentwood, California, according to Page Six. Maybe they’re trying to work on their issues, if there are any, or maybe they just wanted a break before resuming their tour in September.

It does seem strange that they would pick a hideout in California when they could basically go anywhere in the world they wanted at any time. Surely there are less conspicuous places to hide out than in the epicenter of all things celebrity.

It does seem as though Bey is posting  only happy family shots of  her hubby and Blue Ivy on social media, so it’s quite possible that she wants to make sure everyone thinks she and Jay are still crazy in love even if they’re not.
