Emma Watson and Emmy Rossum also made the list.
Vanity Fair released its 2014 International Best-Dressed list Wednesday. Many of the names are no surprise for even the average Red Carpet viewer, while others are probably known only to the dedicated fashionista.
Actresses Lupita Nyong’o, Cate Blanchett, Emma Watson and Emmy Rossum made the list. Actors Neil Patrick Harris, Benedict Cumberbatch and Idris Elba also appeared on the list.
“I spend a lot of time trying to track down wonderful underwear,” Harris told the magazine. “Current favorite brand: N2N. Perfectly designed to honor the goods and not smash them.”
Some of the other names on the list probably do not regularly come up during dinner conversation for the average American, but they are titans of the fashion industry: Rainer Andreesen (model and artist), Amy Astley (editor in chief of Teen Vogue) and Karl Lagerfeld (designer, photographer and publisher) to name a few.
Perhaps the most famous name on the list is Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, known to most simply as “Kate.” According to Vanity Fair, Kate’s most famous fashion ensemble of 2014 is a “bright red Catherine Walker coatdress on a royal tour of New Zealand in April.”
