The original poster was edited because her top was too sheer.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday, actress Eva Green expressed her surprise at the Motion Picture Association of America’s decision to censure the original poster for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
“I don’t understand all the fuss,” the actress exclaimed. “Boobs have never killed anyone.”
According to E! Online, Dimension Films had to make some slight adjustments to the original poster and eventually released an edited version of the promotional material.
“Just wait for the movie then. It’s in 3-D as well. Enjoy yourself, you know!” Green told E! Online. “It was nothing on the poster, it was lots of noise for nothing.”
The actress found it strange that the MPAA was more concerned about her breasts and not the gun she was holding in the poster.
“I’m holding a gun on the poster—no big deal about the gun, it’s all about my t-ts?” Green noted.
The poster below is the original, unedited version of the Sin City 2 poster.
