True Blood actress Anna Paquin schooled legendary interviewer Larry King on bisexuality.

During a recent interview on Larry King Now, Paquin was asked if she is a “non-practicing bisexual.”

“Well, I am married to my husband,” Paquin answered. “And we are happily, monogamously married.”

“But you were bisexual?” King asked, looking for clarification.

“Well, I don’t think it’s a past tense thing,” Paquin said in response. “Are you still straight if you are with somebody?… If you were to break up with them or if they were to die, it doesn’t prevent your sexuality from existing. It doesn’t really work like that.”

According to E! Online, Paquin came out in 2010 in a PSA for the Give a Damn campaign. “I’m bisexual,” she announced at the time. Kelly Osbourne, Jason Mraz, Kim Kardashian, Elton John and Whoopi Goldberg also took part in the campaign.

Paquin is married to actor Stephen Moyer. They have two children together.
