Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is known for playing fun games with his guests.

Naturally, America’s sweetheart Julia Roberts was no exception.

Roberts and Fallon squared off in a game of “Face Balls” in which each contestant throws a clear inflatable ball at the other person who must sit in a chair and face the incoming ball.

To really get a laugh out of the segment, the Tonight Show taped the moment of impact so that the audience could see what Roberts and Fallon’s faces look like when smashed by a giant ball.

“Oh my gosh, you don’t have to throw it that hard!” Fallon said after Roberts launched the ball at his face.

“You flattened my face,” he added after watching the action in slow-motion. “You crumpled my nose!”

When it was Jimmy’s turn, the Tonight Show host felt a bit guilty. “I feel bad doing it,” he said.

For round two, however, Fallon pulled out a bigger inflatable ball and it wasn’t long before the jokes headed south.

“There are so many jokes, it’s giving me a headache,” Roberts said.

“I think I’m better handling big balls,” the actress joked. “This is like the comedy version of Fifty Shades of Grey.“

This contest is sure to become another viral hit for the Tonight Show.
