Earlier this year, Orlando Bloom was photographed with Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Gomez, prompting rumors that the two were secretly dating. When Bieber and the Pirates of the Caribbean star ran into each other at the Cipriani restaurant on the Spanish island of Ibiza early Wednesday, the young popstar nearly got punched for claiming that he has had relations with Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

“Justin was at one table, and Orlando was at another,” a source told Page Six. “But when Bieber and his party were later walking past Bloom’s table, Orlando refused to shake Bieber’s hand.” Then “Bieber said something rude to Orlando, like, ‘She was good.’”

However, another source says that “Justin didn’t even know Orlando was there. But when they saw each other, it was Orlando who was just being an a-hole to Justin.”

Either way, TMZ reports that Bloom tried to punch the 20-year-old singer. The punch missed when Bieber ducked, and caused Bieber’s bodyguard to take the hit. Several sources say that a number of people in the restaurant cheered when Bloom swung the punch at the ‘Boyfriend’ singer.

“Orlando took one swing at Justin and missed,” a source told People. “They were separated and Justin stayed at Cipriani with friends for a while before leaving.”

A witness posted a 30-second video of the confrontation on Facebook which shows Bloom walking away from Bieber and being separated by a crowd before turning back to confront Bieber again. Bieber can be heard in the video saying “What’s up [expletive]?” to Bloom.

Pictures taken hours later show Bieber mocking the failed punch with friends. He also posted a photo of a bikini-clad Kerr on his Instagram, but quickly deleted the image and replaced it with one of a crying Bloom.

Reps for both Bloom and Bieber have declined to comment on the altercation.
