Thousands of strangers gave six-year-old cancer patient Danny Nickerson an unforgettable birthday on Friday, July 25, Myfox8.com reports. 

Danny, who is reportedly dealing with an inoperable brain tumor, received more than 100,000 birthday cards from strangers from across the nation and around the world.

Even pop star Justin Bieber posted a birthday card to his Instagram page.

Danny’s family was touched by all of the kindness shown to their son.

“Thank you for all of the cards, well wishes, prayers, gifts and donations that have made their way to Danny,” a post on the blog Daniel’s Journey read. “Our family is blown away at the outreach from all over the world.  Danny’s 6th birthday is going to be a big one for sure.”

Danny’s birthday was filled with surprises. In addition to receiving thousands up thousands of cards, the brave young man also received gifts from New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, ABC News reports.
