It enables her to use all of her brain, resulting in special abilities. She uses her new-found intelligence and power as she works to stay ahead of the drug dealers. The French film also stars Morgan Freeman as a professor who may help her solve this crisis.

Lucy opened to mixed reviews, although Johansson was praised for her performance. It is another sign that women in action roles can do well at the box office.
