Even though Jennifer Lopez and her boy toy Casper Smart have called it quits, he still remembered her birthday and was sweet enough to tweet at her. Perhaps he thought a sentiment wrapped in 140 characters would win her back?

Lopez recently dumped Smart after he allegedly hooked up with a transgender woman from Instagram. Rumors spread, and before anything was official to the public, their three year relationship was over and done with. Hard to believe they were together for that long. Smart was not too bright to let that fall down the drain because Lopez is not one to dodge wedding bells. She has been married three times before, so who knows if wedding bells would have been in their future if Smart had not messed it up.

It appears as though he might be taking the sad Robin Thicke route by making public efforts to gain her attention. This past week the actress turned 45 and Smart decided to send her some birthday love – via Twitter. Given that Lopez’s birthday fell on a Thursday, he took advantage of the popular “throwback Thursday” hashtag and posted a picture of a pink bear cake – which is what he’d given her two years ago on her birthday. Of course, the picture had to have a caption.

“Happppppppy Birthday to the most Beautiful lil bear in the world!!!! May all your wishes come true!! @JLo (sic).”

Lopez has yet to comment – and it’s likely she won’t. Maybe she will text him to stop, but this isn’t the only time this year that a celebrity couple has landed in drama over a transgender affair. Reality star Kendra Wilkinson and her NFL husband Hank Baskett are currently dealing with the same drama – only they are married with two kids, not just dating.
