Flonase, an allergy relief medication, will be available over the counter, according to GlaxoSmithKline. The organization announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved over-the-counter treatment for allergy relief.

Flonase Allergy Relief is the only available OTC treatment intended for relief from all allergy symptoms related to the nose and eye, including runny nose, itchy nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, and itchy and water eyes. The medication will be available in its full prescription strength as well as to provide allergy relief for 24 hours.

The medication will be available over the counter in early 2015.
