Robin Thicke and Paula Patton put their Bel Air house on the market

The estranged couple listed their private home on Monday.

For singer Robin Thicke, the wrong kind of hits seems to keep on coming. According to TMZ, six months after he and his wife actress Paula Patton officially separated, they have now listed their Bel Air home for sale.

As the Hollywood Reporter describes, the two-story, 3,158-square foot house was built in 1965 and perches above the Sunset Strip, with impressive views of the surrounding area. The grounds include a pool and spa. Thicke’s father, TV actor Alan Thicke, purchased it in the 1990s but passed it onto his son in 2005. The house is on the market for $2.985 million.

One of the house’s bedrooms is apparently set up as a recording studio. It is not known if Thicke recorded either his 2013 smash single Blurred Lines or any of his new album Paula there. The singer must be hoping his house will sell better than that latest musical effort: dedicated to the goal of winning his estranged wife back, it has been an international disaster, failing to sell more than 600 copies in either the U.K. or in Canada.

TMZ reports that neither Patton or Thicke has officially moved out of the house, but that they have not been living together since February either. Time will tell if the sale becomes part of any divorce-related fight for assets.
